From deep house, to funky tunes, to some disgusting filth, Filabusta & Figure blew the roof off The Canopy Club in Urbana, IL. Upon arriving to the familiar venu,e there was a line out the door with folks of all backgrounds and styles ready to dance the night away; ready to experience the grime that Figure is all too capable of bringing. With the music already so intense and dirty drops seeming endless, Figure almost made it a mission to out dance most of his fans.

As the crowd started to pour in and familiar faces connected and came together, ready for night full of energy, excitement, and satisfaction they got exactly what they paid for. Dropping familiar favorites like “Werewolf” and “This Is Halloween,” Figure undoubtingly gave his fans a night to remember. As the night came to an end and the music stopped and the lights came on, Figure came to the crowd and spoke to his fans. He took pictures and signed random objects. And he did it all with the biggest smile on his face. Without a doubt, Figure was one of the nicest and easy going guys I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to. Saying our goodbyes and walking back to the car ready for the hour drive back to Normal, IL I couldn’t help but smile in recollection of the unforgettable night brought to me by Filabusta and the “father of filth” Figure.
